ONE week Thessaloniki

A week in Thessaloniki – traveling with a camera, without a fixed plan and with the willingness to engage with whatever I encounter.

Thessaloniki didn't interest me as a classic tourist attraction. I was fascinated by the city in its everyday moments: people on the street, small shops, cafes, markets, courtyards, architecture, and traces of bygone eras. Much of this isn't immediately apparent. You have to stop, observe, and sometimes simply wait.

My street photography stems from this attitude. I don't try to stage situations or interfere in the action. I observe a world that isn't mine from the outside – and through photography, I become part of that world for a brief moment.

This week's images are therefore less a documentary portrayal of Thessaloniki than a personal exploration of the city. They tell of encounters, moods, and small moments easily overlooked in passing.
